Rachel Manfreda
Rachel is a sophomore on the women's golf team. Rachel qualified for regionals her freshman year and has already qualified for regionals this season. She is one of our top golfers on the team and currently in the top 5 in the conference. Rachel has a positive attitude, an upbeat personality, and her motivation to strive to be the best will take her far! Rachel is an all-around standout student athlete. Joining Rachel are her parents and Head Coach Jennifer Niemeier.

Caitlyn Neal
Caitlyn is a junior and is the Color guard Captain. She spins flag, rifle, and saber in our half-time shows. Joining Caitlyn are her parents and Band Director Brandon Martel.

Matthew Walker
Matthew Walker is a Senior and 4-time Cross Country/Track and Field athlete. His hard work and determination allowed him to become a NAC VI
Conference Champion last year, and his goal is to repeat that success this season. Over his high school career, Walker is a 5-time Top-10 finisher in the NAC VI Conference, and he plans to continue his running career at the collegiate level next year. Joining Matthew are his parents and Coach Marshall and Coach Mercer.

Hannah Gregory
Hannah is a senior and plans to attend UNC - Chapel Hill after graduation to major in premed. Her accolades include Army JROTC Cougar, Battalion Commander, N.C. Girls State, Beta Club (Sophomore), NHS (Junior), JROTC Raiders, JROTC Junior Leadership Challenge Camp, JROTC Archery Commander - Senior and FFA - (Sophomore). Joining Hannah are her parents and Col. Donald Joyner.

Amare Cooke
Amare is a sophomore and most valuable player on the Junior Varsity Football Team. During his accomplished JV career, he has led the Cougars in total touchdowns and yards from scrimmage for the last two seasons as a running back and kick returner. Joining Amare is his mother Chauntse Cooke and Coach Justin Richards.

Charlotte Hederick
Charlotte is a sophomore on the WFHS Dance Team. This is Charlotte's second
season on the team, and she is a standout teammate. Charlotte always works hard and has started her visits and research on college teams across the country. Charlotte is joined by her family this evening as we celebrate her dedication to the WFHS Dance Team.

Brianna Farrell
Brianna has been a member of Varsity Cheerleading for 3 years. She is a
valuable member of the team. On top of keeping up with her Wake Tech classes, school and cheer, Brianna is involved in Drama productions, HOSA, NHS, Unified Champions, Key Club and Latin Honor Society. She exemplifies Student-Athlete. Joining Brianna are her parents and coaches.

Zoey Fisher
Zoey is currently serves as the Wake Forest FFA Chapter Secretary. She has been a chapter officer for each of her 3 years in the program. Zoey has competed in numerous Carrer Development Events in FFA and is a member of the Wake Forest FFA State Championship Dairy Evaluation Team. Zoey is an all-around standout student and hopes to pursue a career in the agriculture industry upon graduation from college. Joining Zoey are her FFA Advisors.

Taylor Jones
Taylor is a senior on the softball team. She has been named All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State for the past two seasons. She finished this past
season with a .519 batting average with 40 hits, 10 home runs, and 40 RBIs. She is also one of our Sports Med student trainers and a manager for our men's basketball team, all while maintaining a 4.08 GPA. Joining Taylor are her family and Coach Owens.

Brady Schwier
Brady has been a Varsity Men's Soccer player for 2 years and spent 2 years on JV. He is a consistent starter and has a high work ethic on and off the field. He has been an Academic All-Conference player every season, was selected as Honorable Mention All-Conference while holding a 4.29 GPA. He is a
member of National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and the VP of Competitive Events for DECA. Joining Brady are his parents Davis and Kennie Schweir and Coach Rick Pittarelli.

Hannah is a junior member of the Wake Forest FFA. Hannah currently serves as the Wake Forest FFA Chapter President. She has been a chapter

Zoey will compete with the rest of the Wake Forest team at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis Indiana in November. Taylor Jones
Taylor is a Wake Forest High School Gymnast who has been
performing Gymnastics since she was 5 years old at the Raleigh School of Gymnastics, Superior Gymnastics, and Top-Notch Training in Georgia. She is a 3-time Regional Qualifier, placed 2nd in the Region in Club Gymnastics (2021). She has also placed 1st in the Vault at State Meet, been a Top 3 Medalists in numerous competitions, and was MVP of the 2022 Wake Forest High School Gymnastics Team and Co-Captain of the 2023 Wake Forest High School Gymnastics Team for which she is also being recognized tonight. Taylor is a member of SGA and NAS Club, and current Honor Roll Student. She is currently attending the Wake Tech Due Enrollment Program with the goal of obtaining a Business Certificate and plans to attend a 4-year University to study Business and Law. Taylor is the daughter of Robert Jones and Monica Taylor.

Dylan Medlin
Dylan currently serves as the Wake Forest FFA Chapter Secretary and has been active in the FFA all four years of High School. He also is a member of the Varsity Wrestling Team and the Cougar Marching Band. He is also in NHS and a member of the Music Honor Society. Dylan is planning to pursue a career in Plant Biotechnology and Genetics in College. He is the son of Terry and Amanda Medlin, and the family is joined by FFA Advisors Mr. Johnson and Ms. Donaldson.

Ka' Niyah Shropshire
Ka' Niyah has been a member of the Cheerleading program for 4 years. She worked hard to make Varsity and is a valuable member of the team. Ka' Niyah always has a smile and positive attitude. She is an active member of several clubs including the National Achievers Honor Society. She is an excellent example of what it means to be a Student-Athlete. Peyton Scheele
Peyton has been a member of Student Government Association for most of her high school career and she is currently the Student Body Vice President. She helps lead our Wake Forest High School community both as a student athlete and an academic scholar. Peyton also enjoys playing club soccer with her challenge team when she is not leading the student body at Wake Forest High School. She truly embodies our Cougar Pride values.

Bailey Wilman
Bailey is a senior captain for the Wrestling team with a record of 46-2. He was 4 th place in the regional and a State Tournament qualifier during his junior season. He has been ranked top 3 in NC State Rankings this year and plans to wrestle in college next year. Bailey Wilman is the 2024 NAC 6 Conference Wrestler of the year and has been chosen to represent the East All-Stars on February 24th, 2024. His mother, Heather Jackson-Wilman and brother, Dylan, are very proud of Bailey.

CJ Eickhoff
CJ is a junior and is a three-year varsity letterman and top contributor to the swim team. During the regional championships, he qualified for States in both the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke. In addition, he led the 200 Freestyle relay team to a conference championship and birth into the State Championships, along with the 200 IM relay team.

Carmen York
Carmen is a Junior and in the Advanced Acting Troupe this year. She was part of the cast of Romeo and Juliet that advanced to state finals, playing Mercutio, and winning Overall Outstanding Actor in the competition. Carmen is headed to ECU on March. 1st receiving a top Superior rating in her monologue and musical theatre performances. She is also a member of our Dance company and the WFHS dance team. Carmen has been a part of every production since she became a Cougar and will continue performing on the stage as a dancer and assistant choreographer in our Spring musical this May!
